A 2026 review in Trends Neurosci tied micro- and nanoplastic exposure to memory loss, movement problems, and brain inflammation. Nanoplastics drove the worst signals because of their gut-to-brain transport.
You can't pull plastic out of brain tissue. You can drop new intake. Filter tap water. Skip food in soft plastic. Replace plastic kitchen tools with wood or stainless. Vacuum with a HEPA, since house dust is a top exposure route. Air out indoor spaces daily.
